I recently entered a contest at Hackster.io and won a new Arduino MKR1000. Part 1 was to submit an idea showing how to use an Arduino, Windows 10, and Azure to make something. This was my idea that came in the top 1000 and won me the MKR1000. Part 2 of the contest was to built the device and submit the story, designs, and source code. The project started small and simple but them got much bigger once GIS analysis and Azure IoT Hub got layered on. Check out the projects for part 2 of the contest. This one is mine. Learned a lot and am planning on trying out new things with Windows IoT Core in in the future.
